Elizabeth Allen Kindergarten Teacher
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Elizabeth Allen and I am excited to be your Kindergarten teacher this year. Teaching has always been my passion and I especially enjoy teaching Kindergarten because it is the foundation for each child's school career. I like to balance rigorous academics with fun, hands on activities! We will be singing, dancing, and having a whole lot of fun learning in Kindergarten.
I grew up in the US Virgin Islands and later moved to New York. I received my teacher credential from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY in 1993 and then completed my master’s degree from California State Dominguez Hills in 2001. My Husband and I moved to Redondo Beach in 1995 and have enjoyed living by the beach! We have two beautiful children, Cassandra (22) and Tyler (19) and a sweet little dog named Molly. We all like to ride bikes, walk along the strand looking for dolphins, and reading on the beach. We also enjoy cooking together and have recently masters the art of making our own sushi!
