JOIN MADISON'S WALKING SCHOOL BUS ROUTE!

Madison has an active Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) Walking School Bus route which is carefully selected/mapped by BCHD, school administrators, and local police for accessibility and safety. Madison's "bus" is led by two or more trained adult volunteers to safely guide students and parents along the designated “bus” route to school.

BECOME A WALKING SCHOOL BUS VOLUNTEER!

Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) started a Walking School Bus Program in 2010 that has successfully spread to 14 schools with hundreds of students participating. Walking to school can log lots of miles, save unnecessary car trips, burn lots of calories all while gaining valuable social connections and interacting with peers. Madison Elementary School needs your help to start routes!
