Town Hall Meetings

MADISON COMETS ARE "SOAR-ING" TO SUCCESS WITH CHARACTER AND MINDFULNESS

Madison Elementary School has morning meetings for students and parents called Town Hall Meetings. They are held in the Madison blacktop area and parents are encouraged to attend. This year Madison will be holding meetings that will be centered around the character traits of Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Trustworthiness, Citizenship and Fairness. To support those themes, teachers will be teaching lessons from the RBUSD Mind-Up Curriculum. Our goal is whole child instruction and "improving academic performance while enhancing perspective taking, empathy and kindness as well as fostering complex problem solving skills."

The Madison Town Hall Meetings are also a time when students will be recognized for their achievements at school. We will also feature a special performance by a grade level of students at each Town Hall Meeting. If your child is receiving an award or if your child's class will be performing at the Town Hall Meeting, you will receive a special meeting invitation from your child's teacher. Each Town Hall Meeting will be featured in the Madison E-Blast so if you are not receiving the Madison E-Blast, click here. See below for a list of Town Hall Meeting dates and the focus for each meeting.

As always, if you have more questions, please contact the main office at 310-798-8623 or email Mrs. Pappas at [email protected].
