Welcome to room 2!

Hi there! My name is Mrs. Branta. This is my 13th year of teaching. I have a Masters in History and a Masters in Educational Leadership. I also have a certificate of Inclusion in Special Education. 

This year, I am fortunate enough to teach a multi-age class of 1st and 2nd graders in Room 2. This is nothing new to me, as I have taught all grade levels 1 – 8. I love teaching!

My philosophy on education is that students should be able to read the word and the world. Can they read books? Great! Can they read the world, make friends, handle their emotions, communicate their needs? Even better! I use a wide variety of books, centers, and projects to facilitate my mission.
