Social Struggles? Your child is not alone.

If your children and teens are experiencing social struggles, know that they are not alone. Our partner, South Bay Families Connected, has heard from administrators and parents at their 115 Partner Schools that upon returning to in-person learning, many students may feel socially disconnected and behind in their social skills. But there is good news: they will catch up and parents can help. Please check out the new SBFC Social Skills page for videos featuring authentic stories from South Bay youth and insight from experts. Videos align with exercises parents can use to check in with their children and help them learn skills to connect with others in positive ways. For additional resources, please visit the SBFC Healthy Relationships page. For resources created for teens, visit the SBFC Virtual Teen Center where a wide variety of mental health and wellness topics are covered. To see more youth wellness resources provided by RBUSD and SBFC, please visit RBUSD Families Connected. Wishing you all a holiday season of positive connection!
