  • Aviation Way to the west
  • Artesia Blvd to the south
  • Inglewood Ave to the east
  • Parts of Curtis Ave/Voorhees Ave/Phelan Ln/Beland Blvd to the north.

Madison Elementary School was founded in 1956 and opened in the fall of that year.  We celebrated our 50th birthday in 2006!

The enrollment for 2008-2009 was approximately 400 students in grades K-5. 

 

 

Performance and Testing Results

The Academic Performance Index (API) is used by the State of California to measure the academic performance and growth of schools on a variety of academic measures.  Madison Elementary School's base API score for 2008 was 880. Students in grades 2-5 participate in the State of California's Standardized Reporting and Testing (STAR) every Spring, testing in English-Language Arts, Mathematics and, for grade 5 only, Science.  Click here to view the school's test results for 2008.
