  • Aviation Way to the west
  • Artesia Blvd to the south
  • Inglewood Ave to the east
  • Parts of Curtis Ave/Voorhees Ave/Phelan Ln/Beland Blvd to the north.

Madison Elementary School was founded in 1956 and opened in the fall of that year.  The enrollment for 2014-2015 was approximately 460 students in grades K-5. 

 

 

Performance and Testing Results

The Academic Performance Index (API) is used by the State of California to measure the academic performance and growth of schools on a variety of academic measures.  Madison Elementary School's base API score for 2012 was 907. Students in grades 3-5 participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CASPP) every Spring, testing in English-Language Arts and Mathematics.  Results for the 2014-2015 school year are still not available. For earlier results, please visit the California Department of Education's Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Results page.
