School Lunch & Breakfast Programs

What's for Lunch?

Lunch menus are posted on the RBUSD Child Nutrition Services website.

Students may buy lunch in the school cafeteria for $3.00 per day.  Lunch is provided by Redondo Beach Unified School District Child Nutrition Services.  Milk may also be purchased for $0.50.

PLEASE NOTE: The cafeteria will only extend credit to students for 3 meals, then an alternate meal (graham crackers, fruit and milk) will be provided.  Please make sure your account is up to date, or bring money for lunches!

Eligible students may receive meals free or at a reduced price of 40 cents for lunch (breakfast is free). Forms for the free/reduced lunch program are available in the office or can be downloaded from the RBUSD Child Nutrition Services website.

Parents may also buy lunch for $4.00 and eat in the cafeteria with their children.  Please contact the school office to inquire about joining your child for lunch.

Payment Options

Students may open a lunch account with the cafeteria so that they do not need to carry money each day. Cash, checks and credit cards are acceptable. The lunch account can be used whenever required and has no expiration date.

Cash/Check

To open or top up your lunch account, bring cash or a check to the school cafeteria, to the value of 20 meals ($60.00). Checks should be made payable to RBUSD Child Nutrition Services.

Credit Card

Parents, you now have the option to pay for your child's school lunches online by credit card!  MyLunchMoney.com is a simple, private and secure method that allows you to check your child's meal account balance and top it up at any time, using your Visa or Mastercard.  To register, you must know your child's PIN (meal account number).  If your child does not know this number, please contact your child's teacher or the school office for assistance.

You may add any amount your child's meal account at any time.  You can even set up automatic pre-payments (for a small fee), so that your child's account will be topped up if it drops below a certain amount.  For full details, go to MyLunchMoney.com.

Sack Lunches

Students may bring their own lunch.  Please bring your lunch in a sturdy lunch bag and make sure that you label all personal items with your name.  Students may purchase milk or juice from the cafeteria if necessary.

In the event that your child forgets to bring in their lunch bag, please do not take it to your child’s class.  Leave it on the table outside the office, notify office staff that it is there and we will make sure your child gets it.

Parents may also bring a sack lunch and eat in the cafeteria with their children.  Please contact the school office to inquire about joining your child for lunch.

Breakfast Program

Students who arrive at school before 8:00 a.m. may buy breakfast in the school cafeteria for $1.50 per day.  Breakfast is provided by Redondo Beach Unified School District Child Nutrition Services.  Eligible students may receive breakfast for free. Forms for the free breakfast program are available in the office or can be downloaded from the RBUSD Child Nutrition Services website
